Introducing RydeCare

We’re pleased to announce the launch of RydeCare, our new wheelchair‑accessible vehicle service created to improve access to safe, reliable transport for people with mobility needs.

RydeCare has been developed in response to growing demand from care homes, GP surgeries, and healthcare providers for a transport solution that prioritises accessibility, dignity, and dependability. The service is designed to support patients and residents attending medical appointments, essential services, and other important journeys where wheelchair access is required.

Our RydeCare vehicles are fully wheelchair‑accessible and operated by professional, trained drivers who understand the importance of patience, reassurance, and respectful care. As with all Ryde services, RydeCare is powered by our fully electric fleet, helping to reduce emissions while delivering a high‑quality, community‑focused service.

We are now actively seeking to partner with local care homes and doctor surgeries that require a trusted transport provider for their patients and residents. Through RydeCare, our aim is to remove barriers to travel and make accessible transport simpler to arrange and rely upon.
